I composed The Oath inspired by the guitar heroes I grew up listening to and the composers I love from classical music. Guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Brian May and Ty Tabor. And composers such as Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and the lesser known 18th &19th century composers for the guitar like Carulli, Sor, Giuliani, etc.
